Royal Sonesta Harbor Court to Host Fifth Annual Pack-a-Trolley to Benefit Comfort Cases Non-Profit
Baltimore, MD –November 2022 – Many times, when a youth is entering foster care, has been removed from their home for allegations of abuse, or is facing homelessness, they are forced to move from house to house with all their personal belongings stuffed into a black trash bag. Comfort Cases, an international non-profit organization whose mission is to promote Hope and Dignity to youth in foster care, has changed that paradigm by providing them with a Comfort Case® or a Comfort XL, to replace the practice of using trash bags. The backpack or duffel bag contains personal items such as new pajamas, a soft blanket, toiletries, dental hygiene kits, a book and a stuffed animal, among other items.
On Friday, December 16, 2022, from 7:30AM -3:00pm, Royal Sonesta Harbor Court will host the Fifth Annual Pack-a-Trolley event to benefit Comfort Cases. A trolley, provided by American Limousines, will be parked in front of Royal Sonesta Harbor Court on Light Street where volunteers and staff will be on site to accept backpacks, backpack items and donations as well as monetary contributions.
