Volunteers, including representatives from the Rutland City Police Department and Rutland City Fire Department, pack Comfort Cases on Saturday. Each bag includes a pair of new pajamas, toiletries, a hygiene kit, a journal or activity book, a story book, a stuffed animal and a blanket. The event was coordinated by the state’s Moose lodges. Rutland’s lodge, No. 1122, was well represented Saturday.
